London Collections: As seen on the streets

The response with regards to statistics after posting about menswear last week made it clear that you guys do like a bit of manspiration. As you may or may not know, during fashion week I like to play around with a bit of street style because I really do think thats where most of the fun lies. It's always great to capture a womans character through her clothing

Whatever a woman can do, a man can do just as good so as the world’s most fashionable men make an appearance in the capital we take a look back at the street style stars of the second London Collections: Men and the trends that got everyone talking.

Colour and print
Be it Ikat, camouflage or neon brights, Londoners have never been afraid to clash colour and print. Jonathan Saunders and Paul Smith both brought the trend to life on the catwalks but its going strong on the streets too.

Statement shoes
High-vis trainers or studded brogues: whichever way you go, statement footwear is the order of the day this season. For the flashiest style and designer shoes, think Alexander McQueen, Anthony Miles and Nike.

Boyish backpacks
While man bags and pouches are on the up, the backpack still rules when it comes to street-wise style. Herschel is the go to-brand for cool and casual styles or check out Mulberry for a more classic, more office-appropriate carryalls.

Love,
Me
