Snakeskin troubles

This leather beauty was sat in the sale sometime early this year after the whole snakeskin craze had died down and I asked myself three questions.
1. The hell was it doing in the sale?
2. Why was it still there even after the price reduction?
3. Why aren't 2 women shedding blood over this?

Then I walked RAN sprinted over to it and even seeing that it was a size 14 and I'm an 8, there was still no valid reason stopping me from buying it right. I mean, it was just 3 sizes up. Phssstt!

Two tailors turned me down on my quest to alter the skirt because
 1. A size 14 - 8 is apparently too vast and to them "won't look right" (Imagine that)
2. It's leather.
The 3rd tailor said "I'll see what I can do"

The rest is history really.......

And there we have it, the story behind my snakeskin skirt.
Persistence always wins guys, it always does!

I also need to point out that mustard shoes go with everything. Get some!!

I hope Everyone is having a lovely weekend and I sure do hope you have a lovely week ahead of you too!!

Thanks for reading,

  10. Ahahah - I'm keeping this in mind next time somebody turns me down - no matter what the context.

The skirt is gorgeous, but it's really your styling that make it so perfect. You could over too it with too much jewelry or too much sparkle on top, but you keep it totally effortless with this red loose-fitting sweater. It compliments the skirt, and allows it to speak for itself, without challenging it in any way.

Your bracelet is also the perfect touch, and the yellow shoes are unexpected but awesome! I love how they match the lines on the street. You live in such a cute place!

  19. Looks great on you! I'm always buying things that are too big for me, thinking I can fix it up or take it in, but my laziness gets the better of me.
