Trying to get the right outfit going out to lunch with my sisters is never easy. Especially not when I have 20 minutes notice. Pigalles will always work in an emergency regardless of how cripple they make me look (ever tried walking in pigalles?) and so will what I personally consider to be 'Vintage' VirgosLounge. This coral dress is part of one of our first collections designed almost 5 years ago and I made sure to snap one up for my archives. My VirgosLounge collection is about 40 garments rich now, and I'm not slowing down with my collecting any time soon . It is a bit heavy because of the the beading and only a few were made because of the amount of skill and time it took to make this so I'm sure you can imagine how special I feel. (It might also have something to do with VirgosLounge being a new/small business back then but please, allow me to have this one) My own personal (almost) couture. :D I'm feeling hella fly and dresses don't get any cuter.
This dress begs the question, why do I love frilly and girly dresses so much? Like a prick, I'll go ahead an answer my own question. I think it all comes down to well, the fun of it. It's obviously not the utility or the practicality because quite a few people might have seen my underwear and my hands played for a real good wind protector. But, as the sun comes out, so does my inner girlyness so you'll be seeing a lot more of these kinna dresses in coming weeks. Lets just hope the sun stays out for us long enough. Not just for the dresses but have you seen the sunsets over the past few days? Its amazing to just sit, sip on something, anything really.... tea, juice, water. e.t.c. I can't stand how beautiful it is sometimes, its just too silly.
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and enjoying all the olympics shenanigans!
I promise you no one is more excited about it that I am. I've been tweeting about it here all day.
